This workbook uses activities and pictures to explore ideas of setting boundaries and respecting the boundaries of others. Consent is not a sexual issue. Consent begins with personal space and respecting the boundaries of others. Topics in this workbook are drawn from the National Sexuality Education Standards to better establish age-appropriate guidelines.

Age-appropriate examples and questions guide young minds through how to set boundaries and how to respect the boundaries of others. Issues of safety and and how to respond when someone is not respecting your boundaries are also discussed, guiding children through how to speak up and get help, if needed.

Grade 6-8 Workbook
This workbook explores the concepts of consent and setting boundaries for middle school age students. Consent Education is sexual assault prevention. Reducing assault attempts by educating students on what qualifies as assault while also preparing students to react in dangerous situations. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 10.4% of high school age children experienced sexual dating violence in 2013. Educating children before high school is vital in protecting them. This workbook, along with the lessons in the Consent for Kids Teacher Edition: Grades 6-8, teens have the knowledge to make the right choices.
